GS칼텍스는 석유 사업분야에서 일 78만 5천 배럴의 정제시설을 갖추고 등ㆍ경유 탈황시설 등 최첨단 자동화 생산
설비에서 고품질의 석유제품을 생산하고 있습니다. 2014년 기준 국내 2,840여 개의 주유소와 420여 개의 충전소를
통해 석유제품의 안정적인 내수 공급에 힘쓰고 있으며, 전체 매출의 약 66%를 해외로 수출하면서 국가 경제 발전의
견인차 역할을 수행하고 있습니다. 한편 GS칼텍스는 환율 및 국제 유가 변동 등 급변하는 시장 환경에 능동적으로 대
응하기 위해 고도화설비를 지속적으로 증설하였습니다. 2010년 제3중질유분해시설(VRHCR)을 본격적으로 가동하면
서 아스팔트를 부가가치가 높은 경질제품으로 전환하여 회사의 수익성을 향상시켰으며, 2013년에는 감압경유 유동상
촉매분해시설(VGO FCC)을 가동하면서 국내 최고 수준인 일 26만 8천 배럴의 고도화 처리 능력(고도화 비율 34.6%)
을 갖추었습니다. 이를 통해 정유공장의 이상적 모델인 퍼펙트 콤플렉스(Perfect Complex)를 실현하였으며, 수익성과

GS Caltex produces high quality petroleum products using refineries with a daily capacity of 785,000 barrels
and state-of-the-art automated production facilities including desulfurization plants for kerosene and diesel. As
of 2014, we are focusing our resources on stabilizing the supply of petroleum products in the domestic market
with more than 2,840 gas stations and 420 filling stations nationwide. About 66% of our sales is from exports,
leading our country’s economic development. Meanwhile, we have expanded our facilities to reflect technical
innovation and respond to a fast changing market environment. In 2010, we went into full scale operation of our
third VRHCR and replaced asphalt with high value-added light petroleum products, significantly increasing our
profitability. In 2013, we started operation of VGO FCC and reached a daily process capacity of 268,000 barrels, the
highest in Korea(achieving an upgrade rate of 34.6%). By doing so, we realized our vision of Perfect Complex and took
