Gross Electric, Inc. operates as a wholesale distributor of electrical and safety products, serving customers in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan from its base in Toledo, Ohio. Founded in 1910 and still family-owned and operated, the company emphasizes its long-standing regional presence. Its primary value lies in providing electrical and safety materials to support projects and operations for contractors and other buyers in its service area.

In December 2022, Gross Electric expanded its footprint by acquiring Country Squire, a move described as returning the business to its downtown lighting and electrical supply store roots. In December 2025, the company named Drew Gross as president to guide overall strategy, operations, and long-term growth, with outside supply sales continuing to strengthen customer relationships.
