Many things have evolved over time, including a name change in the early 1950’s. Throughout the years, the members helped this club to grow from a social club to a full-service country club offering the highest of quality services to its highly valued members. In the early 1950’s a major fire destroyed the original clubhouse. Members remained, primarily due in part to a wonderful golf course and great location to the city, they re-developed this club site and introduced Green Oaks Country Club! In the early 1920’s, a renowned designer by the name of Donald Ross, created a wonderful golf course, offering a rolling terrain, in hilly southwestern Pennsylvania. This “hidden gem” is complete with wide manicured fairways, challenging golf shots, dramatic views and wonderful bunkering which ensures a very playable, enjoyable course for you and your guests. We have memberships to fit every need, from full golf to social. We also offer a special incentive for golfers under the age of 40, a benefit that is great for young families.
