Green Building United is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit focused on advancing sustainable building practices through education and advocacy across the Greater Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, and Delaware regions. As a 501(c)(3) organization, its community comprises practitioners, advocates, and volunteers who collaborate to promote green building solutions. The group provides members and partners with resources, tools, and programs designed to keep them informed about current green building news and trends. Grounded in its regional focus, the organization hosts events and facilitates collaborations that broaden its impact, including its annual Sustainability Symposium, a large gathering dedicated to healthier, more resilient, and climate-conscious buildings and communities. In 2025 it partnered with Clean Energy Group to participate in the Clean Energy Incentive Navigator Program as part of launching the Regional Building Energy Hub. Earlier in 2026, it collaborated with the Delaware Nature Society and other partners on the Johnston Park biorientation basins project, engaging volunteers in the planting effort.
