Grand Victoria Foundation is a philanthropic grantmaking organization founded in 1996 by the Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, Illinois. It is based in Chicago and aims to strengthen Illinois communities by supporting efforts that promote a livable, equitable state where residents can thrive. The foundation organizes its grantmaking into five program areas — Economy, Education, Elgin, Engagement, and Environment — with a focus on systems-level change. It collaborates with nonprofit partners to pursue community-informed ideas and solutions to improve quality of life across Illinois. In 2022, Abundance—a movement to shift philanthropic dollars toward Black-led and Black-centered organizations—was launched in collaboration with Chicago Beyond and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
