Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit founded in 1984 that supports homeless women and their children. It provides housing, employment assistance, and other supportive services designed to help clients rebuild their lives and gain independence. The organization operates four residential facilities that shelter up to 93 women and 40 children each night. It has served the Los Angeles area for decades, helping more than 25,000 women and children since its inception. In 2018, HealthCorps established a partnership with Good Shepherd Center to deliver health and wellness programming for homeless women and children in the region.
