Goheen Financial Group was formed in 1990 by Shawn Goheen, who was raised in Ft. Worth and studied business at Texas State University. Goheen spent nearly a decade in the financial services industry before opening his own firm in Sugar Land, Texas — a growing Houston suburb in the heart of Fort Bend County. Early on, Shawn Goheen identified Fort Bend as a promising center for economic growth. His instincts proved right as Fortune 500 companies, corporate offices and independent businesses put down roots. As the region grew, so did Goheen Financial Group—a reflection of the area’s strong economic climate, but also a clear result of Shawn Goheen’s dedicated approach. In 2005, Goheen Financial Group debuted their new headquarters in Sugar Land, Texas, designed to accommodate a growing clientele and staff, with ample space for future expansion. Sugar Land and the surrounding Fort Bend Communities have experienced a great deal of growth over the past few years. With the increase of small businesses opening, as well as large businesses relocating their head quarters to the area, Shawn Goheen has had the opportunity to build long lasting personal relationships with many of these successful business owners. As a financial firm in Sugar Land, Goheen Financial Group maintains a high level of involvement within the Fort Bend Community. Like so many of his clients, Shawn Goheen loves what he does and remains passionate about his work, his family and the Fort Bend Community. Outside the professional realm, Shawn is involved in the Fort Bend community on multiple levels. Involvement including Child Advocates of Fort Bend, Fort Bend Women’s Shelter, Fort Bend American Cancer Society, Sugar Land Fire Department, Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurs Organization well as other charitable organizations.
