GMH Engineering is a small engineering firm based in Orem, Utah, focused on instrumentation, data acquisition, testing, and analysis for challenging engineering problems. It was founded in January 1988 by three Brigham Young University alumni who emphasized hands-on design, build, and validation work, with initial emphasis on automotive crash testing and safety research. To address the practical issues of long data cables in field testing, the company developed the DataBRICK onboard data acquisition system, now in its third generation. Its capabilities span amusement ride dynamics, whole-body and hand-arm vibration testing, forensic engineering, and broader instrumented testing and development. It also operates a full-scale automotive crash test facility capable of vehicle-to-vehicle and barrier testing.
