Global Ties U.S. is a nonprofit organization operating in the international affairs field, based in Washington, D.C. For about six decades, it has facilitated connections among leaders from business, nonprofit, government, and academia through U.S. international exchange programs, building relationships that help address global challenges. As a nonprofit partner of the U.S. Department of State, the organization coordinates exchanges and brings current and future leaders from around the world to communities across the United States, while providing its member groups with connections, leadership development, and professional resources to enhance their effectiveness.

Its membership encompasses a range from large national organizations to small, community-based groups serving all 50 states and more than 40 countries, reflecting its role as a broad network within the international affairs ecosystem. In March 2025, Global Ties U.S. received the Citizen Diplomat Award, with Daniel Van Sant named as a recipient.
