Global Digital Finance (GDF) is a non-profit industry association based in London, aiming to accelerate digital finance by promoting best practices and standards and by engaging regulators and policymakers. It operates as an open, inclusive global convening platform for the digital finance ecosystem, bringing together member firms to advocate for and advance standardization in digital assets. The organization functions as a global hub for open innovation in digital finance, supporting collaboration between traditional financial institutions and the digital asset sector. 2024 activities illustrate its collaborative approach: the Tokenization Forum was launched in February 2024 in partnership with Archax and Ownera. In July 2024, GDF's Tax Working Group partnered with the GLEIF GIFI Relationship Group to promote data standardization and interoperability between the digital asset ecosystem and traditional finance. In September 2024, GDF and Hogan Lovells co-hosted their fifth annual Digital Assets Summit, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and regulatory experts to discuss adoption and regulation of digital assets.
