Girls Gotta Run Foundation is a small nonprofit that invests in girls who use running and education to empower themselves and their communities. The organization provides material support—such as running shoes, training clothes, additional food allowances, coach subsidies, and other training-related expenses—to help participants stay in school. It also advises local and partner organizations on gender-sensitive issues and advocates for gender equity in running programs. 

Based in Washington, District of Columbia, Girls Gotta Run Foundation operates within the international affairs space, with programs in Ethiopia's Bekoji and Soddo. In 2024 it served as an official charity partner for the TCS New York City Marathon, with its runners using a training-planning product to guide preparation.
