GGZ Rivierduinen provides mental health care to people of all ages with serious psychological complaints and their loved ones. Our 2,100 colleagues provide care to approximately 15,000 clients in the municipalities in the regions of Alphen aan den Rijn, Duin- en Bollenstreek, Gouda, Leiden, Leidschendam, and Zoetermeer. Rivierduinen includes out patient clinics, community teams, acute care, clinics, residential wards, day activities, and a specialist department for eating disorders.

We have extensive experience and expertise in caring for the elderly, adults, adolescents, and children who struggle daily with multiple psychiatric problems. The goal of treatment is to reduce psychological complaints, make them more bearable, and enable acceptance, so that clients can maintain control over their own lives. We choose to apply our knowledge and expertise where we can make the greatest collective contribution to recovery: namely, with those seeking help and their loved ones dealing with complex psychiatric issues.
