Georgia's Own was founded in 1934 by a group of telephone employees with an initial investment of $160. Since that time, we've grown to be one of the largest credit unions in the state with assets of more than $4 billion and over 240,000 members. In addition, we serve the employees of over 430 sponsor companies. We were founded on the credit union philosophy of people helping people and are dedicated to providing our members with exceptional savings and quality service.
