Georgia Commute Options provides free services that help commuters and employers shift from driving alone to alternatives such as carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, telework, cycling, or walking. Serving the metro Atlanta region, the program has engaged more than 1,600 employers and 100,000 commuters, delivering clear cost savings and incentives for participants. The initiative is part of transportation demand management and reduces about 1.1 million vehicle miles on the roads on workdays. The program is managed by the Atlanta Regional Commission and operates from Atlanta, Georgia, as a small to mid-sized organization. In September 2019, Edison Bicycles partnered with Georgia Commute Options to promote biking as a commuting option.
