Georgia Appleseed Center for Law & Justice is a nonpartisan nonprofit focused on law and public policy that serves the public interest in Georgia. Its mission is to increase justice through law and policy reform and community engagement. The organization relies on the work of hundreds of volunteers, primarily lawyers and other professionals, to pursue substantive changes to laws and policies that unfairly affect children, the poor, and other marginalized groups in the state. It operates as an independent affiliate of the national Appleseed network and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Operating within the public policy arena, it seeks to correct inequities embedded in state laws and policies while engaging affected communities in reform efforts. In April 2026, Georgia Appleseed launched Seedmore, a new tool that supports its reform activities.
