The company began in 1983 when George Gee opened a Pontiac dealership in Spokane, later adding GMC in 1991 and relocating to Liberty Lake in 2000. Under President and CEO Ryan Gee since 2003, the group expanded to include Buick, Porsche of Spokane, Kia operations in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, and Cadillac in Coeur d'Alene. The group extended its footprint beyond Spokane with the 2017 acquisition of 13 dealerships from the Tonkin Group in Portland, and it now operates about 40 dealerships including Eastside Subaru in Kirkland, South Tacoma Honda in Tacoma, and Gresham Subaru in the Portland area.
