Robert Gaines was the initial family trailblazer, bringing integrity and personal service to the insurance world in the 1950s. After an esteemed career, Robert currently serves as the official office ‘mentor’. His wife, Winifred Gaines, worked alongside Robert for years, earning the title from Robert as “best employee ever”. 

Today, Gaines Insurance is led by Ted and Beth Gaines. This successful couple leads a life of public service, both within their business endeavors and in their political lives. Ted serves as a Representative in the California State Senate, while Beth serves in the California State Assembly. Together, Senator and Assemblywoman Gaines set a standard for excellence and service that exemplifies the entire Gaines Insurance team.
