Frontier Financial Credit Union is owned and operated by its members. This is what distinguishes the credit union from other financial institutions. Founded in 1958, the credit union is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that are elected by the membership. Every member is given one vote regardless of the amount of money they have on deposit. Because we are not beholden to paying stockholders, we return the savings to our members in the form of more services, better savings rates and lower loan rates. Our mission is to provide our members with quality financial services while maintaining a friendly, safe, and sound financial institution. Frontier Financial Credit Union is a state-chartered credit union, organized under strict regulatory laws that are monitored and enforced by the State of Nevada Financial Institutions Division. Members' shares are insured for up to $250,000 per account by American Share Insurance, a private insurer.
