With our corporate headquarters located in beautiful Hampstead, NC, Freedom Lawns USA was developed in 1999 by Agronomist, Certified Turf Grass Professional, and Gardening author Mark A. Tamn. As a professional in the Lawn and Landscape industry for over 30 years, Mark created Freedom Lawns USA, Inc., the alternative to conventional “fast food “lawn care services. The Freedom Lawns difference is clearly evident in three specific areas. For starters, the principal focus of the Freedom Lawns Service is solely dedicated to warm season lawns in the Southeastern United States. This means we are the regional experts who will improve and maintain your Centipede, St Augustine, Zoysia or Bermuda lawn. Many other lawn care services have their corporate headquarters in cooler regions of the country, and may not have a day to day working knowledge of the grass types, growing conditions, soils, or environmental factors that are unique to your lawn! In addition, we have developed and truly emphasize an IPM (integrated pest management) system that we really do practice (some companies simply make the claim). Our unique process and methods enable us to perform our services in a manner that is friendlier toward the things that are important to you like your family, pets and our treasured ecosystems. Our private label organic based fertilizers are specifically formulated for the needs of your warm season turf types. They will enable your grass to get thicker, greener and more vibrant.
