Freedom House Ministries is a faith-based organization in Green Bay, Wisconsin, that provides shelter, support, and services to homeless families with children. Operating since 1992, it runs an 8- to 12-week program at its East Side campus that includes shelter, food, clothing, medical assistance, and a structured curriculum focused on budgeting, parenting, resume building, and soft skills to promote self-sufficiency. The organization serves families by developing individualized plans through a team of staff and volunteers, with the aim of breaking the cycle of poverty and helping adults pursue employment, housing, and education during their stay. In addition to its East Side facility, Freedom House operates a West Side campus known as The Bridge, which provides transitional housing and outreach to address barriers to permanent housing and an expanding waiting list. The nonprofit positions itself within the larger Brown County community as a partner in preventing and reducing homelessness, supported by collaborations with local stakeholders and community organizations. }
