Welcome to the official page of the Forest Area School District! Forest Area School District creates a foundation for life-long learners prepared to excel in a diverse world. PREPARE TO EXCEL! Forest Area School District is a small, rural district located in northwestern Pennsylvania encompassing all of Forest County as well as the townships of Millstone in Elk County and President in Venango County. The district is 501 square miles in size and services approximately 535 students, Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12. There are currently two school buildings being utilized: East Forest School (K-12) located in Marienville and West Forest Elementary/Secondary School (K-12) located in Hickory Township. The school district currently employs a superintendent, two building principals, 50 full time classroom teachers, and a support staff of 24 individuals.
