Fire & Gas Detection Technologies (FGD) addresses the needs of the fire and gas industry, with an emphasis in Oil and Gas, energy transition markets (Hydrogen) as well as other high-risk industries, by providing improved performance and reliability in its UV/IR and IR3 flame detectors.
The company offers new, innovating concepts, technologies and high-performance products in the field of optical Fire and Gas detection created by the same innovators that developed past UV/IR and IR3 flame detectors.
The FlameSpec-IR3-HD Detector is the first to be launched and provides extremely fast response: 40ms for fireballs or explosions and 1-4 seconds for all types of hydrocarbon fires at a distance of up to 260ft (80m). The detectors have equivalent or better performance than the current market leaders and meets all necessary approvals for hazardous areas, performance and functional safety.
As an integral part it also includes, a high-definition (HD) video output and event data logger. This allows viewing of pre/post alarm event video/data for “lessons learned” analysis. Outputs include 0-20mA analog, relays, HART, RS-485 and LAN communication
