FilAm ARTS traces its roots to FPAC, which began in 1992 as a response to the Los Angeles riots and has since moved across venues, culminating in a two-day festival at Levitt Pavilion and other sites. Over the years, FPAC has welcomed more than 25,000 attendees, 1,200 artists, and 400 volunteers, underscoring its community reach. In 2021 the group pursued collaborative programming, such as Tikim Fest initiatives developed with Alma Backyard Farms, Farmfluence, and Los Angeleno.
