Avient Fiber-Line® focuses on improving the product performance of high performance fibers like: Diofort®, Dyneema®, Fiberglass, Heracron®, Innegra®, Kevlar®, Nomex®, Nylon, Polyester, Spectra®, Technora®, Twaron®, Vectran® and Zylon®. Fiber-Line® adds this extra performance to high performance fibers by twisting and coating these fibers. Coatings which improve the handling, the abrasion resistance, the adhesion with different compounds/matrices, the UV resistance or the water repellency. Fiber-Line® has available coatings which can color these fibers (COLORCOAT), adding waterabsorption properties for the cable industry (SWELLCOAT™) or change the smoke and flame properties.
