We are a growing community of life, love and hope living the mission and message of Jesus Christ. We exist to help people grow closer to Jesus through transformational worship, intentional discipleship, missional communities and compassionate service. Come join us. We worship every Sunday at 11am! A Short bit of History: In early 1961, approximately 70 members of the German/American Ridgemont Baptist Church of East Detroit, Michigan signed a resolution to form a new church in what was the wilderness of Sterling Heights. The members of this church plant desired to launch a new English speaking church that would permit them to reach their neighbors and friends with the message of God’s love, as found in the Bible. They purchased a 3-acre plot of land that once was an old country school house, for just over $18,000. The buildings on-site were not sufficient for a Sunday morning worship service. Therefore, the congregation worked together to prepare the new church for opening. In fact, they worked until it was too dark to see because the electricity had not yet been turned on!
