FAR Limited is an independent, Australian Securities Exchange listed (ASX: FAR), oil and gas explorer with high potential exploration and pre-appraisal assets in West and East Africa. Two world class oil discoveries offshore Senegal in late 2014, with partners Cairn Energy Plc and ConocoPhillips of the US, have transformed FAR Limited and underscored the significance of its West African margin exploration leases. Follow up drilling to appraise the Senegalese discoveries and test new targets will start in late 2015. In November 2011, FAR completed a takeover of Flow Energy Limited giving it control of a significant portfolio of exploration assets in Kenya.
