We utilize evidence-based psychotherapy approaches that are aimed at helping individuals improve their quality of life, validating their experience, supporting their healthy goals & growth, and helping them learn and utilize behavioral skills. We frame therapeutic sessions around the scientific method to establish a guide for individuals to understand the process of therapy. We collaboratively develop more comprehensive hypotheses and measurable treatment goals, regularly assess progress, focus on personal awareness, education about the individual's primary concerns, skill development and symptom management. Our goal is to to be as precise in our understanding of our patient's primary concerns, so they can experience time-limited, efficient and effective therapy allowing them to live life to its fullest. SERVICES WE PROVIDE Individual Psychotherapy Group Psychotherapy Couples Psychotherapy Psychological Assessment: Surgical readiness (bariatric, spinal cord stimulator, etc.) and personality assessment. Biofeedback Community Education and Outreach Mastering Pain TM At Evergreen Behavioral Health we do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to pain management. Instead we encourage a science-based approach to test and identify the interventions that work best for each individual. That is why we utilize an integrated and comprehensive system to introduce one to all that psychology has to offer for pain so they find their specific best strategies. We know that pain is a biological process that affects brain function and can even affect brain structure over time. Latest research shows that specific applied neurobiological skills, coping skills, and life skills can alter this brain function, improve pain perception, and improve quality of life.
