Established in 1942, the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) is a nonprofit that mobilizes the entertainment industry's voice, talent, and partnerships with public and private organizations to advance social causes. Based in Los Angeles, California, EIF develops and supports programs at local, national, and global levels to raise awareness and funds for positive social change.

Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), EIF's cancer research arm, funds work to develop new treatments and has backed nearly 2,000 researchers and contributed to nine FDA-approved cancer therapies. Defy:Disaster, EIF's disaster-response program, provides aid to survivors and communities affected by natural disasters and has responded to more than 40 disasters across six continents. EIF also runs the Careers Program to broaden access to entertainment careers for historically excluded communities and acts as a fiscal sponsor for athletes, artists, and influencers seeking to leverage their platforms for social good; in March 2026 the foundation launched EIF Studios to support social-impact content.
