Emperor’s College is a higher education institution based in Santa Monica, California, offering masters and doctoral programs in Oriental medicine. The college emphasizes integrating eastern and western medical knowledge and aims to prepare practitioners who can engage with the broader medical community while supporting the growth of Oriental medicine within modern healthcare systems. Its operations extend beyond the classroom through the Emperor’s Clinic, which serves a substantial patient load, and through public outreach such as free quarterly lectures and community health events, reflecting a focus on local and global community engagement. The campus supports a library resource for students and the public and pursues environmentally conscious practices, including online delivery of course materials and recycling initiatives. In November 2023, the college announced the launch of a doctoral residency program in collaboration with the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, signaling an expansion of its clinical training opportunities.
