Emily's Entourage is a nonprofit foundation that aims to accelerate the development of new cystic fibrosis treatments and pursue a cure for the portion of the CF community not served by existing mutation-targeted therapies. Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that chiefly affects the lungs and digestive system. The organization was founded by Emily Kramer-Golinkoff, who has advanced CF, together with her friends and family, and is based in Merion Station, Pennsylvania. Since 2011, EE has awarded millions of dollars in research grants, supported the creation of a CF gene therapy company that was later acquired, and developed a patient registry and a clinical-trial matchmaking program to speed recruitment, contributing to global efforts to advance CF research and treatment.
