Electrohold is a Bulgarian energy utility group focused on power distribution, electricity supply, and wholesale trading across regulated and liberalized markets. Based in Sofia and part of the Eurohold holding, the company traces its formation to 2021 when Eurohold acquired CEZ Bulgaria via its wholly owned Eastern European Electric Company B.V. Its operations are organized through seven entities, including EDG West, Electrohold Sales, and Electrohold Trade, collectively serving about three million clients nationwide and commanding a large share of the distribution market. The group’s stated mission centers on providing energy while modernizing and digitizing the grid to improve life quality and environmental impact, with ambitions to grow in Bulgaria and extend its footprint into Central and Eastern Europe. In 2023 the company announced plans to develop a 100-MW solar photovoltaic facility in south-central Bulgaria as part of expanding renewable capacity. The headquarters are located at 159 Tsarigradsko Shose in Sofia.
