ecoLogicStudio is a design innovation agency based in London that focuses on bio-digital technology for the built environment. The practice combines systemic thinking, computational design, biotechnology and digital prototyping to explore new relationships between buildings and living systems. Founded in 2005 in London by Claudia Pasquero and Marco Poletto, it has earned an international profile for its experimental, research-led approach.

Its portfolio spans interior applications and urban planning tools, with PhotoSynthetica identified as its flagship bio-digital cladding system. The company aims to transform how cities accommodate growing populations by merging biotech, digital design and fabrication to advance green and smart building industries. By integrating living microalgae with advanced fabrication methods and management systems, ecoLogicStudio envisions buildings that act as living machines—producing energy, storing CO2 and cleansing the air.
