E.C. Cooper, Inc. was established in 1908 by Edward C. Cooper, a civic leader who saw the need for financial security in Schuyler County New York. Mr Cooper managed the business for many years providing the area professional insurance sales and services.

Bill Peters became the owner of the business in 1980 sharing Mr Cooper's professional philosophy. Bill retired in 1995 when Doug Hagin and Mike Stamp purchased E.C. Cooper. 

Doug and Mike continue operate with a staff of 10 highly experienced professionals. For over a century 
E.C. Cooper, Inc. has been proud of its continued growth and service to its customers.
