Easterseals Central Texas is a local nonprofit based in Austin that serves the Central Texas region, providing support to children and adults with disabilities and has served the community for more than 78 years. Spanning 21 counties, its mission centers on patient-centered services that help clients gain independence, with more than 185,000 Central Texans living with a disability across the community. The organization provides four areas of care including Early Childhood Intervention for birth to three, delivered in the child's natural environment to support developmental milestones. It also offers Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation, with therapies in multiple languages, audiology, and social work services for people with disabilities. Additionally, Workforce Development helps adults gain employment and computer literacy, while the Community and Housing Services Program provides housing supports, assistive technology, advocacy, barrier removal, and public education.
