East End House is a nonprofit community center based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It employs a holistic approach to support well-being, academic achievement, and a successful transition to adulthood for children and youth from under-resourced families in Cambridge and surrounding communities, serving people from infancy through senior years to strengthen families and the wider community. The organization runs programs in child care, after-school, and middle school, all designed to help youth gain tools for lifelong academic and social success and to work toward a long-term goal of post-secondary education completion or gainful employment by age 24. The organization has been recognized for innovation and excellence, including a Family Strengthening Award for family engagement from the Annie E. Casey Foundation and UNCA, and it earned accreditation after meeting more than 300 quality standards in administration, finance, and service delivery, becoming the first agency in the country accredited both as an agency and as an after-school provider. In 2023, CambridgeSide Partners LLC partnered with East End House to host a school supply drive, demonstrating ongoing collaboration to support under-resourced and vulnerable children.
