East Bay Center, Inc. provides quality behavioral healthcare primarily in the East Bay region of Rhode Island as well as all of Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. We offer a full continuum of community-based, home and office based behavioral health treatment and prevention services to adults, children and families. We are available 24/7 for persons in crisis or present imminent risk and may need acute psychiatric hospitalization.

We believe that behavioral healthcare services help individuals and families to maximize their coping skills and strengths in dealing with acute and/or chronic psychiatric and addiction problems. Our goal is to support clients' independence and interdependence by helping them minimize symptoms and improve their communication and relationship skills. 

We are committed to the philosophy of "least restrictive care." This means that we strive to support clients to achieve their full potential in an environment that gives them the greatest degree of independence, while still providing for their safety and the safety of the community.
