The East Bank Neighborhoods Partnership (EBNP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving quality of life across the East Bank neighborhoods of Minneapolis. Formed in 2024 through the merger of three long-standing neighborhood organizations, EBNP brings together the communities of Marcy-Holmes, Nicollet Island–East Bank, Southeast Como, Mid-City Industrial, and the University neighborhood under a single, unified structure. This consolidation allows for stronger advocacy, more efficient use of resources, and a coordinated approach to neighborhood challenges and opportunities. EBNP works at the intersection of community engagement, economic vitality, and public realm improvements. The organization leads initiatives that support local businesses, activate public spaces, enhance neighborhood infrastructure, and foster meaningful connections among residents, institutions, and stakeholders. Key areas of work include: • Business district support and commercial corridor revitalization • Community events, outreach, and inclusive engagement • Public space enhancements, including clean-ups, lighting, and placemaking • Environmental stewardship and community gardening • Transportation and infrastructure advocacy As a convener and connector, EBNP partners with residents, businesses, the City of Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota, and other local organizations to advance projects that reflect the needs and character of East Bank neighborhoods. By aligning strategy with on-the-ground action, EBNP is building a more connected, resilient, and vibrant East Bank.
