EagleTree Capital is an independent private equity firm based in New York, focused on mid-market buyouts, with a relatively small to mid-sized team. Its Senior Partners have worked together for more than 20 years, beginning their partnership at Wasserstein Perella & Co. where they led the merchant banking group. After Wasserstein Perella was acquired by Dresdner Bank in 2001, they continued with Wasserstein & Co., LP, and in 2015 established EagleTree Capital (formerly WP Capital Management).

The firm maintains relationships with a diversified base of investors, including public and corporate pension funds, government entities, endowments, foundations, and high-net-worth families, and concentrates on mid-market private equity.
