DON PEO Digital serves as the Department of the Navy's enterprise-wide information technology acquisition authority, guiding digital modernization across the department. Based in Washington, DC, it aims to deliver modern capabilities to its user communities—the Navy and Marine Corps—through IT solutions implemented with speed, agility, and affordability. The office was established in May 2020, consolidating networks, enterprise services and digital infrastructure under its umbrella after the reorganization of the former Enterprise Information Systems program. Its mandate centers on transforming and integrating IT systems to meet evolving DON needs while coordinating with related programs, including the transfer of manpower, logistics, and other business-solution offices to the PEO for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions.
