Based in Littleton, Colorado, Doctors Care is a nonprofit organization that expands access to affordable health care for the medically underserved in South Metro Denver through a coalition of health care providers. Its core offering is a clinic that operates five days a week, providing sick- and well-care visits for children and young adults up to age 30, with pricing options including Medicaid, CHP+, a sliding-fee-scale, or uninsured patients at a low flat rate. Uninsured patients of any age can enroll in the Doctors Care Sliding-Fee-Scale Program, supported by a volunteer network of nearly 900 primary and specialty care physicians across 91 specialties. In addition, mental health services are available onsite for participants in either program, including counseling and psychiatric medication management, with care coordinated to integrate mental health with primary care.
