Dock Street Brewing Co. is a long-standing craft brewery in the beverage manufacturing sector, founded in 1985 as one of the first post-Prohibition craft brewers and the first to operate in Philadelphia. Its beers have earned gold and silver medals, signaling recognition within the craft beer community. The company runs two Philadelphia sites—DOCK STREET WEST in a 110-year-old converted firehouse in West Philadelphia, and DOCK STREET SOUTH, opened in 2019 at 22nd and Washington Avenue in South Philadelphia—where the brewing culture is paired with a dining program that includes wood-fired pizza, burgers, vegetarian options, fries and bites, as well as craft cocktails and Pennsylvania wines. 

At its venues, visitors can enjoy two bars, an open kitchen, a sizable EarthStone wood oven, outdoor seating, and ceiling-high windows that showcase copper-clad brew kettles. In recent years the business has pursued expansions and partnerships, including the 2019 opening of the South Philadelphia location and collaborations with local organizations and technology-focused partners, reflecting ongoing activity within Philadelphia's craft-beer and dining scene.
