The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) is a government authority based in Riyadh, established in 2017 with a mandate to preserve and celebrate Diriyah, the Kingdom's historic capital and the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif site. It aims to develop Diriyah’s architectural, artistic and economic dimensions while safeguarding its Najdi mud-brick heritage, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the area’s history. Led by CEO Jerry Inzerillo, the organization seeks to reinforce social and cultural values that have helped shape modern Saudi Arabia. DGDA’s objective includes positioning Diriyah as a prominent cultural destination and gathering place, while creating opportunities for young Saudis in line with Vision 2030. To drive progress, the authority established the Diriyah Development Company (DevCo) in 2021. A recent development is a partnership with Amazon to enhance cultural experiences in Saudi Arabia.
