Founded in January 2012, Direct Radiology is a physician-owned and operated teleradiology practice comprising more than 115 radiologists working in close partnership with 390+ facilities across the country. In November of 2013, Direct Radiology was awarded Joint Commission accreditation. In 2019 the company received its third re-accreditation, earning superior marks and comments from the surveyor for quality, safety, workflows, and IT capabilities. Sharing an interest in expanding the future evolution and growth of teleradiology, in March 2019 Direct Radiology partnered with Philips to infuse their innovative technology and support services into its clinical operations. Today, Direct Radiology entrusts Philips to help their daily business operations and growth through the Philips Telediagnostic Management Solutions business. Direct Radiology continues to distinguish itself for its outstanding quality of service and for the inclusive and complementary positioning of its services to existing radiology groups and other customers.
