The company was founded in 1948 in Adelaide, South Australia by Mr Colin Detmold and after over 65 years of growth and expansion, today the business is still owned and managed by the Detmold family. The Detmold Group employs around 2500 people worldwide in offices and factories strategically located to support our customer’s operations and future growth. We have world class manufacturing facilities in Australia, Indonesia, China, South Africa, Vietnam and the Philippines, with a global network that services the Asia Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. The Detmold Group is comprised of three distinct Sales companies - Detpak, PaperPak and Detmold Packaging Sales - the Operations division and Corporate services. All functions of the global business are connected to the head office of the Detmold Group located in Adelaide, South Australia.
