Welcome to Desert Charities News, a brand new source devoted to our local charities, donors, and suppliers who do fantastic work right here in our own backyard. It’s the reference source charities have long been thirsting for, and the only one of its kind devoted to our local charities and causes. Published quarterly, Desert Charities News serves the entire Coachella Valley with news and information from thousands of charities who strive to make the world a better place each and everyday. Soon we’ll be expanding to include charities in Southern California including Los Angeles and Orange County—more than 20,000 in all. Our goal is to make Desert Charities News a community through which the charities themselves share ideas and connect with one another in a meaningful way. Thus promoting not only their own missions, but the greater good of philanthropy. In fact, giving back is what we are all about. For each ad we sell we give one away to a local charity of our choice. It’s our way of helping charities gain exposure and meet fundraising goals in challenging economic times. Our new website, DesertCharitiesNews.com is already becoming a “must visit” site for information, news, announcements, videos, sponsor information, and a calendar of upcoming events.
