Denver Community Church is a religious organization based in Denver, Colorado, established in 2001 when a group sought to create a church deeply involved in the local community. The church describes its mission as journeying together in following Jesus and demonstrating God’s love to all people, emphasizing the life stories of congregants and the church as a community of people rather than a physical building. Its activities are oriented toward community engagement and support, including partnerships with other groups to assist vulnerable populations, such as immigrant communities. The organization operates within the religious institutions industry and has a small-scale presence, with a setting in the city and region, and a history that includes relocating assets as part of its strategic plans. A recent development noted in public sources is a collaboration with Casa de Paz to shelter immigrants, illustrating continued community involvement.
