Delib designs digital tools to support ongoing public participation in governance, extending beyond election-day processes. The company was founded in 2001 after recognizing that traditional practices often excluded citizen input and made participation unnecessarily difficult. Based in Bristol, in the South West region of England, it operates in the public policy space with the aim of making participation easier for both citizens and government bodies. It offers three main products to support distinct democratic processes: Citizen Space for public consultations, Simulator for deliberative prioritization of complex decisions, and Dialogue for online crowdsourced conversations. These tools are used by more than 160 government bodies worldwide to address issues ranging from climate-change planning to policing priorities and constitutional questions such as the Scottish Independence Referendum. In July 2025, Delib released Citizen Space 8.
