The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission is a regional planning organization serving the Greater Philadelphia region. It serves as the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization for the nine-county area, including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania; and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer in New Jersey. The organization aims to unite elected officials, planning professionals, and the public to advance transportation improvements, smart growth, environmental protection, and economic development. Its work targets local governments and residents across the nine-county area, focusing on shaping how people live, work, and move. In 2026 DVRPC introduced the Sidewalk Priority Score to identify priority pedestrian connections. It also launched an interactive Transportation Improvement Program website to support the public comment period for the Draft FFY 2027 TIP in Pennsylvania.
