Located in Kingston, New York, the DeForest Group has been a member of the independent agent community since 1925.  The business has changed over the years into the aggregation model that it is today.  Our model, referred to as the Partner Program, gives Independent Agents the opportunity to grow their business while maintaining costs and ownership.

Our unique program is supported by our outstanding staff.  They are veterans of the insurance industry with many years of experience.  Every placer and CSR is dedicated to the agents that they serve.  Additionally, we receive full cooperation and support from our exceptional carriers that participate in the Partner Program.

The DeForest Group is active in its surrounding community.  It contributes to the United Way Campaign, participates in the United Way Day of Caring and the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk, as well as, supports other charitable causes.  Additionally, the DeForest Group is a member of IIABNY, PIANY, ASCnet Hudson Valley Users Group and the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce
