Damayan Migrant Workers is a small nonprofit based in New York City operating within the international trade and development sector. The organization focuses on supporting migrant workers, including efforts to counter labor trafficking and modern-day slavery through partnerships, such as a 2017 memorandum of understanding with the Philippine Consulate General of New York. In May 2026, Damayan partnered with NYC Care to improve access to low- to no-cost health services for its community in New York City, regardless of immigration status. Earlier in 2026, members participated in a Health Care and Coverage Workshop that addressed uninsured New Yorkers and launched the Tulungan Health Collaboration Project. The organization has previously collaborated with Barnard College to document the pandemic's impact on Filipino migrant workers in New York.
